Maple Syrup Glazed Pecans
These maple syrup glazed pecans are great for mixing in breakfast cereals or topping salad.
a pinch of salt
Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
Add maple syrup and cinnamon. Stir to combine.
Mix in pecans and salt.
Lower heat to medium-low. Cook while frequently stirring until maple syrup crystallizes, turning to a powdery texture. It took me about 15 minutes.
Spread glazed pecans on parchment paper until they are cooled down.
Slip a cutting board under the parchment paper and cut the pecans into smaller pieces.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
