Kid friendly baked turkey & pork meatballs

  • 3 medium-size carrots
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 lb ground turkey
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 cup ground Parmesan cheese
  • 2~3 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp ground coriander
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sage powder
  • 1 tbsp optional beef gelatin


  1. Preheat the oven to 375F
  2. Peel and chop carrots into 1" chunks. Add to a food processor and pulse until very finely chopped but before it becomes a mush.
  3. In a bowl, whisk eggs.
  4. Add all ingredients into the bowl and mix thoroughly.
  5. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Form meatballs in the size of a golf ball and place them on the sheet, not touching each other.
  7. Bake for about 25 minutes or until cooked through.

Recipe Notes

Can be frozen up to 3 months. Best way to warm up meatballs is by heating up in pasta sauce.

Beef gelatin helps make the meatballs juicy and chewy.
