(for 2 adults and 1 toddler)
2 yellow peaches, 1 banana, 2 mandarin oranges (or 1 big orange,) 2 cups of spinach, 1/2 cup oats, 1.5 cup milk
*I made this with almond milk today, but I prefer coconut milk in my smoothies for its milder taste.
I’m trying out a new resolution. I’m going to workout just one day during the weekdays, once in the middle of the week: Wednesdays. (Weekends are a bit easier to get my ass to the gym.) I think I can manage one day. I really should, because I just added one more year to my age today and the number’s getting scary.
This smoothie was thick and creamy (with oats, banana, and peaches) making it a filling breakfast after a good workout. Throwing in lots of spinach is okay. You can’t taste the spinach, and the color only gets prettier.
