We all know that kids love popsicles. I like freezing leftover smoothies into popsicles for my kids, but traditionally, we would need to wait for the next day for the pops to freeze. With the ZOKU Quick Pop Maker, you can make a smoothie and freeze it into popsicles in less than 7 minutes! This machine is compact enough to keep it in my freezer so that we can make popsicles and eat them anytime we want. My kindergartener loves to make popsicles in the ZOKU Quick Pop Maker herself. Here, we turned a kale smoothie into yummy green pops.
Kale and pineapple popsicles + smoothie
Turn this green smoothie into popsicles in 7 minutes!
- handful of kale
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapples
- juice from 1 lemon
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tbsp or more honey to taste see notes
Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth.
Insert the sticks and then pour the smoothie up to the fill line.
Once the pops are frozen, use the Super Tool to remove the pops.
Attach the drip guards and enjoy your freshly made pops. Enjoy the rest as a smoothie.
1. The quick pop maker must be frozen 24 hours in advance.
2. Natural sweeteners such as honey will enhance the taste and help popsicles come out of the maker. Do not use sugar-free beverages in the maker.
