10-Minutes Easy Meal: Microwaved Steamed Eggs

Here’s a 10-minutes easy meal from start to finish, using Innobaby Din Din Smart Silicone Chicken Steamer. Have you been to a Korean restaurant and tried those soft, flavorful steamed eggs that come in a stone bowl? You can make this in the microwave using Innobaby Chicken Steamer and serve it. In the separate compartment, I defrosted some frozen peas and corn. Then, I mixed them with butter and cooked rice. Served with apple slices on the side, and done!

  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • optional 1 tsp mirin (rice wine)
  • 1 tbsp water

  1. In a bowl, beat an egg.
  2. Add mayo, fish sauce, sesame oil, mirin, and water. Whisk to combine. It’s ok if mayo doesn’t completely dissolve.
  3. Pour the egg mixture into Innobaby Din Din Smart Silicone Chicken Steamer.
  4. Cover with lid and place the steamer on a plate just in case there might be spillage. Set microwave power level to 50% and microwave for about 2 minutes 30 seconds or until eggs are cooked. Time will vary depending on the microwave.
